Political language — and with variations this is true of all political parties, from Conservatives to Anarchists — is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.

Visiting Hospital this week I go to watch some of question time in the House of representatives, and to my surprise I recalled this quote from George Orwell, who also wrote Animal Farm that great book that gave is the lian

The only other thing that struck me was that the Speaker, Peter Singer, appears to be doing quite a good job or keeping some order in the house.
