“In Australia we have serious challenges to solve and we need serious people to solve them. Unfortunately, Tony Abbott is not the least bit interested in fixing anything. He is only interested in two things: making Australians afraid of it and telling them who’s to blame for it.”
“We have serious problems to solve, and we need serious men to solve them. And whatever your particular problem is, friend, I promise you, Bob Rumson is not the least bit interested in solving it. He is interested in two things and two things only: Making you afraid of it and telling you who’s to blame for it.”
It is interesting at the moment, and perhaps on a couple of scores. On the one hand perhaps Tony Abbott does not need to tell the Government how they should do the job, on the other hand it’s not helping us at the moment, even though we have the world’s best treasurer. Somewhere here there should be a possibility to see an alternative government. At the moment all we have is an opposition.
And perhaps for the money they get paid our politicians and their speech writers could come up with original words. I am not even sure if he acknowledged the near quotation. The extracts I read suggests that the green arrangement is not something the ALP is loving at moment either!
